Southern Pacific (SP) Baldwin-Lima-Hamilton (B-L-H) AS-616 5266 in Roseville, CA is what was likely an unknown date in September 1969. This would make it one of my oldest color slides.
SP 5266 is a B-L-H AS-616, SP Class BS616-5. Reportedly: SP 5266 was built in 1952 by B-L-H as a model AS-616, builders number 75462, SP 5266, SP Class DF-112. In 1965 it became SP Class BS616-5.

Es geht die ganze Zeit darum, ob die Waffe offen rumlag, wer sie ihm gegeben hat, ob sie geprüft wurde oder ob der Abzug gedrückt wurde. Dabei ist doch völlig absurd, dass da überhaupt mit echter Munition hantiert wird. "Es wirkt dann echter" in einer Branche, in der aber wirklich komplett alles Illusion ist!!

My understanding is that the guns were left laying on an open table when she walked away to do other filming duties. She left them unchecked & unsecured. The Asst Dir grabbed a gun himself, then handed it to #Baldwin .
As my daughter tells me (at least on the stage), NO ONE is supposed to hand ANY gun to an actor except the Armourer. The Asst Dir didn't want to wait for her to come back, picked up the gun without her knowledge or permission, and violated safety rules in that, too.
