The Palm Beach Story is breezy screwball but almost too silly to be taken seriously. Joel McCrea is a terrific lead, but Claudette Colbert is no Barbara Stanwyck. Rudy Vallee and Mary Astor are very good, but the ending is dumb. #BallOfFire is still the winner, imho. #CritetionChannel
