While their voices are largely missing from the public record, due to racism, some internal resources still document a lot of their history. (Some of which is happening right now). HIGHLY suggest the photographs of Teenie Harris, a Black, Pittsburgh photographer who documented Black urban life at the time, including Ballroom.
