Billie Holiday was born in Philly, but she was raised in Baltimore. She grew up in Fells Point and sang in clubs on Pennsylvania Avenue where a statue of her now stands. I’ve always loved this photo of her and Mister. #baltimorehistory #baltimoresaltbox
