Samen met zijn broer, waar hij zichzelf "L'Andrew The Love Child" noemde, maar de band kwam nooit echt van de grond.
Toen #JeffAment en #StoneGossard na het uit elkaar gaan van #BamBam een nieuwe band samen stelden viel hun oog snel op de charismatische frontman van Malfunkshun. Anrew werd dus de zanger van de band

Drummer uit Seattle die gezien wordt als één van de grondleggers van de #grunge scene.
In 1983 maakt hij al deel uit van de cult band #BamBam, die wordt gezien als de band die de de grunge sound uitvond, met in hun rangen de legendarische frontvrouw #TinaBell.
In 1985 voegt hij zich bij één van de meest metal gerichte grungebands ooit en net als Bam Bam pioniers binnen de grungescene, met name #SkinYard.
