I love this What If Ironman suit that Steve Roger's uses when Peggy becomes captain Britain, but it will not stay standing. It has some lose joints and some stiff joints. I created my own figure stand since it's large. I hope it fixes the issue.

Found out about the Honeycomb wall 3D prints and I love it. Definitely printing more for when I get my office more complete and put it near my printers. So many cool tool holders.
I printed out 4 for next to my desk to hold headsets and controllers and other stuff.

News suggesting #BambuLab will be releasing some kind of component, possibly a hot-end for printers. Possibly allowing the AMS to be used with other printers.
Risky move, as we know how easy it is to get a hot-end wrong, and with #E3D is #BIQU, it is a competitive space.
As the AMS doesn't support abrasive filaments, I wouldn't be surprised if this doesn't.

I can't get the #bambulab mobile app to get live video. I have it in the desktop. I saw someone suggest to remove the printer and add it again. Tried that, still same thing. It even fails when trying to view the micro SD card from the mobile app.
Someone created a great looking case for #bambulab accessories https://www.printables.com/model/567590-optimized-bambu-lab-accessory-storage-case?fbclid=IwAR3AtLknd5BF6w_eoKVPb1_yPbttXgU6MNbcTF_aHvMe7DsMkTF5sbtALNg
My recommendation would be to join a #Discord server repated to #Bambulab and the #X1C. Most printers have their own communities, which I often find on #Reddit. Reddit subreddits also often have Discord communities. That's how I found the community for my printer.

Well. It was annoying when some prints didnโt work earlier this week, but I donโt leave my machine on/unattended/with completed prints on the plate much right now - I know others will have done, and the #BambuLab cloud problem this was a serious issue that caused damage in some cases. Props to them for the relative transparency into what happened and stated commitment to fixes; that said, obvious disadvantages to the cloud setup #3dprinting https://blog.bambulab.com/update-for-cloud-downtime/
One aspect of #3dprinting that I did not expect was the irresistible urge to keep buying filament.
When I first got my printer, I bought like 6 spools of PLA and PETG in a few basic colors and thought to myself "that'll see me through a few months before needing to restock!
Here I am barely a month later with nearly 20 spools so far, and a constant urge to get more in new material types, colors, etc.
On a totally unrelated note - I'm super stoked about #bambulab new ultra-lightweight PLA for printing rc aircraft ๐
Having said that... the #BambuLab firmware upgrade that shipped today has apparently stripped out almost all of the #3dprinting telemetry that was previously accessible via #MQTT - that is going to cause a lot of #OpenSource projects like #HomeAssistant, OBS extensions etc a lot of pain. I hope they put that stuff back in / make it accessible again. The limits of using proprietary tech ๐

I've had a #BambuLab printer for ~7 months (and it is *excellent*), but have mostly avoided multicolour prints - partly due to the wastage on switch/purge, mostly due to not being able to leave the printer to run for extended periods. I've used the AMS for layered smaller layered plates and badge, but not figurines and such. Finally doing a relatively small 3 colour AMS print today and it looks fantastic so far. ๐ค๐ป #3dprinting
The price surprised me, and this is by far a more enterprise-grade printer. But I don't know if I am even sold on the idea.
I've always wanted a #Idex printer, mostly for water soluble supports or even doing the PETG-PLA trick #Modbot has suggested before. But with the relative price of the #Bambulab #AMS, isn't it just better to get that? Because here you are now just limited to 2 colors, and the AMS could one day be upgraded and also easily extended.
So I wonder if Idex will be killed before it even went big ever? #SnapMaker are leaders in the space, and technically, this isn't an Idex because the nozzles are on the same head.
If creality wants this to be successful in the target group they are pricing it at, their software needs to improve.
I think most people can admit that similar to Apple, the thing which makes the BambuLab printers so good is the software and build quality.

Ridiculously, my first implementation of the lighting hack for my #BambuLab X1C ran over HTTP, not #MQTT. I shall now fix this. #MicroPython (adding, not replacing, is the plan)

I'm a bit late to this party but this Bambu Lab machine behaves like I expected 3D printers to behave before I started using them. So far, the futzing it requires is forgivable. Put in filament. Mess about with a slicer. Wait an hour or so. Finally, pop everything off of the build plate. Repeat. If it continues to perform like this for a week or so then I might even stop watching the video stream to make sure that it's working.

When the #BambuLab X1C gets jammed, it's not the most fun trying to figure out where/why/how and disassemble the extruder and AMS and stuff.
Anyway. It's nearly time to record a podcast.
You couldn't do this on a Prusa without massive brims (I know, I tried). #3DPrinting #BambuLab #X1C
