Apart from a couple of games here and there, I never really delved much into 4th edition #GURPS, but I played a ton of 3rd in the 90s.

WotC craven betrayal of the industry and a desire for a change of pace has caused me to lazily drift back into the orbit of SJG, and I am wondering if I should look into #Banestorm.

Something that I like to imagine is getting together a living campaign group for #GURPS #Banestorm.

They killed a kobold vampire they'd trapped and held inside of a box for over a week. One of them decided "I'll catch a rat and feed it to the vampire!" He liked it, you see. Once the latch was undone, it made a Regular Contest of ST that lasted... a long time. Eventually, it overpowered him and got out. Then it immediately set to attacking him. If I hadn't ruled that the rest of the party heard the commotion downstairs, that halfling would be dead & there would be 2 vampires.

After numerous postponings session 2 of my #GURPS #Banestorm campaign is finally happening in 100 minutes. I'm, regardless, hardly prepared.

First session of my #GURPS #Banestorm campaign tonight. Doing some last minute (last 6 hours more like) prep. I'm not worried. 😟​

Can't sleep. I guess I'll plan out my session 1 and first adventure. Can't wait for it to be spoiled by my players. It's starting out as a mystery, a fun twist involving a kobolds vampire, maybe some gretchlings I make for #GURPS, and bloody murder at the end (or just a citizen's arrest). #Banestorm is shaping up to be a good choice.

I made a straw poll for what game my group would rather I run. So far it's looking like either #CepheusEngine/#Traveller or #GURPS #Banestorm.

I've been very interested in playing #Hârn or #Harn (or maybe playing #Banestorm) in GURPS. However, I think that playing it in another system that I've been curious about for a while, #BurningWheel, would be, perhaps, even better. If I don't like it, it might be possible to convert it to GURPS, anyway. #Fantasy
