Some good stingless bee action in the garden this morning. #99hives #urbanbeekeeping #BangkokGarden

We’ve got a few ground cherry plants in our #BangkokGarden that kind of appeared from nowhere. And they’ve spread like weeds. Taste pretty good. I think I’ll make salsa from them.
Always a joyous day when it’s time to trim back the basil plants and make six month’s worth of pesto sauce 😀 #BangkokGarden
Nursery season. Grow during the rainy season, produce during the cool season (hopefully). Also this year, bee food 😀#BangkokGarden #99hives
Holy moly. Discovered this giant lime tree at Poomjai Garden. Was gifted a lime off the tree and a sapling to plant in my #BangkokGarden. 1 cup of lime juice from a single fruit!
@Aa_UrbanBees #99hives installed the first 4 of 99 urban hives, in our #BangkokGarden this afternoon. Looking forward to the #StinglessBees settling in and seeing if our fruit trees become more fruitful.

Every few years we need to call in the arborists to cut back the trees in our #BangkokGarden. Everything grows so fast here. Going to need a bigger truck.
40 mm in a little over an hour and it’s still pouring down. Another 10 mm and we need to be on flood patrol. #Bangkok #BangkokWakesToRain #BangkokGarden

Are we allowed to share lunch pics over here on the proboscidean federation? Today’s one of my favorites. Nam Prik Noom Makua-yao with Sai Ua (Long eggplant - chili dip with Isaan sausages) and vegan Moo Krob (vegetarian version of Crispy Deep Fried Pork Belly) and sticky rice. Most of the chili dip ingredients came from our #BangkokGarden
Have been curious about this tree in our #BangkokGarden as it did not behave like any other tree I’ve seen. Breaks out into vivid pink flowers once a year that fall and totally cover the ground like snow, then a month or two later produces huge amounts of berries that the birds love. Turns out it is three trees. Originally a type of Cuban Pink Trumpet tree that has a Strangling Fig and Banyan tree enwrapping it.
Quite busy in our #BangkokGarden this morning as one of the trees is fruiting berries.
