#BanksiaIntegrifolia, aka the coast banksia, is a tree that grows along the east coast of Australia. One of the most widely distributed Banksia species.

This one however is stunted and ground dwelling for some unknown reason (to me). Maybe because of competition (plenty of gumtrees here), self-propagated or damage, not sure.

But the woody branches look healthy enough and I’d suggest it’s longevity seems assured.

Only one bloom, but that’s good enough for me!
