I believe I stumbled across a #Rosabanksiae… common names #LadyBanksrose, or just #Banksrose.
It is native to central and western China, although they appear to grow very well here in #melbourne #Australia.
I’ve seen heaps of these flowering abundantly of late and these ones are going gang-busters here in the suburb of #ormond.
Such a simple design and anatomy, but the delicate petal infrastructure is such a delight. And they smell oh so fresh!
