I replcaed the burrs on my #Baratza Encore! The M2 burrs seem to have a better grind distribution.

Whole process was super easy; a 21mm socket and some sharp force got the old burr right off. Just don't be like me and drop the wing nut inside the case lol

Ok so one afternoon playing with the #baratza encore esp. I am getting way more consistent grind sizes which is making pressing on my #aeropress way easier and results are less bitter (I assume because no channeling) definitely have to smack it to get any remaining grounds out. So far I am extremely happy with the purchase. #coffee

Update: I have now installed a 9-bar spring into my #Gaggia Classic Pro, upgraded the burr in my #Baratza grinder, and have a #VST precision basket on the way. The rabbit hole is pretty deep, but not “installing a #PID,” deep.

I've had my #Gaggia Classic Pro for about a week, now. I've ordered a 9-bar spring mod, a bottomless portafilter and a burr upgrade for my #Baratza grinder. I've watched numerous videos on the subject of pre-infusion, temperature surfing and coffee distribution tools.

I just want to make sure I’m exhibiting good form as I fall down this rabbit hole.

Yeah I should have done it before it reached this point, but brutal when your #coffee grinder is too clogged that you have to take it apart and clean it before your second cup.

I do know that it is necessary for almost all non-tropical tree seeds to cool or even freeze them so that they feel they passed winter, and deffinitely some seeds of smaller plants last strong for much longer if refrigerated...
