Watched Barbarella with friends last night - it remains a masterpiece. So much effort and passion went into this, not an inch of it was half-assed.
Jane Fonda is electric and pitch perfect, the settings are fantastical, the effects are creative and wonderful. A space adventure full of strange worlds, colourful characters and an optimistic, psychedelic, sexy vision of a distant comic book future.
