I am Having a Day again, so I decided to do some garden work to take my mind off things.

I've dug up and potted up the barberry and Fortune's spindle shrubs to hopefully get them (possibly) downy mildew free and settled in for the winter, pulled a bunch of creeping buttercup ☠️ and cooch grass 💀, found a rogue grapevine growing where there hadn't been one before, and I feel marginally better.

@kamikat @valhalla Nicked the facing assembly instructions from the Charlotte Emma jacket... so the facing goes on, you do all the understitching with just the facing in place, THEN add the lining. So you're only wrangling one 5 metre lot of fabric, not two.

Strongly recommend the jacket pattern if you would like a slightly 50s-inspired blazer.
