Good morning any out there, some #barclayjamesharvest Caught In The Light. Early 1990’s album when the roads were narrowing for the band. Little interest in UK but the German market was strong. Some good songs on here and it deserved more imo

My dive into #barclayjamesharvest continues. North from John Lees BJH is a rather splendid affair. Recorded in tribute to Wooly Woolstemholme and also dedicated to Mel Pritchard this analogue sounding album is full of tasteful songs and lyrics from Lees. Backed by a talented and sympathetic band it’s worthy of the best of the band. Title track, Unreservedly Yours and On Leave are standouts. Highly recommended

More #barclayjamesharvest with Eyes Of The Universe. Don’t think this was their finest hour. A few odd songs that seemed a bit throwaway. Les Holroyd had the better songs on this. John Lees so normally assured offers up two duffers in Skin Flicks and Alright Down Get Boogie

Been cleaning my #barclayjamesharvest albums. I’ve somehow collected 15 of them. All bought second hand and in varying condition. First up XII, their 12th album. Some decent songs on this, they had ditched the melodeon and were heading towards a simpler rock sound. The sleeve isn’t in good nick and I don’t have the insert with lyrics

Second commuter album was Time Honoured Ghosts off of #BarclayJamesHarvest. 1975. Sixth studio album. The mid-70s was their best period if you askl me. #ProgRock #PlayEverything 444
