You did it for "$1 million in pre-seed funding," a ridiculous amount of press coverage, and account credentials of unsuspecting people (judging by your tweets, initial logins are done on your server, not the client).
We're not the same.

Stop appropriating activism, especially for profit.

Yeah, remember when they wanted to ban youtube-dl? And also there used to be a FOSS alternative app for instagram called #Barinsta which removed all of the ads and tracking, even the UI was much better and the entire thing was lightweight. If there was a sane way to use instagram then that was it, but then of course these companies won't allow such things, the development has been shut down due to legal threats from Facebook. Es gibt da einige Leutchen, die nur auf #instagram posten - und auch nur in „privaten“ Profilen. Mein „read only“ account wurde weder gehackt noch sonst was aber da ich ne 3rd party android app (#Barinsta) nutze werd ich wiederholt gesperrt. Diesmal komplett… Kann nur jedem raten alle die dort exklusiv sind zu nerven alternative Plattformen zu nutzen. :mastorage:

@kuketzblog Gibt es eigentlich aktuell eine Alternative zum freien, Datenschutzfreundlichen Instagram Client #barinsta , denn dieser funktioniert seit einigen Tagen nicht mehr zuverlässig und führt immer wieder zur Sperrung meines Instagram Accounts? Behelfe mir jetzt mit der mobilen Website, aber komfortabel ist irgendwie anders. Den normalen Client möchte ich aus bekannten Gründen eher nicht nutzen...

Instagram не любит альтернативщиков и режет доступ, в частности поиск.
Bibliogram - это веб-фронтенд, берет данные из публичных просмотров профиля Instagram и помещает их на страницу, которая загружается быстрее, дает загружаемые изображения, удаляет рекламу, генерирует RSS-каналы и не побуждает вас регистрироваться.

Zuck Fuckerberg, ok. But if you're worried about #Facebook taking down your favourite #Barinsta #Instagram client with a cease&desist letter, why on first hand are you still using and supporting that pile of poo no matter with what client?
