Why do y’all use the word “stinky” in your bios to describe yourselves

I’m going through profiles on Barq and every single one begins with something like

“A stinky [species] who [info]”

Like is there someone who looks at profiles and goes “Well I wasn’t going to chat with them but now that I see they smell awful, NOW I simply must.”

My brain is very confused.

I was given ownership of a Christian Barq group that hadn’t been moderated well (or at all) and immediately started applying moderation and now the homophobic and transphobic straight cis Christian furries are mad at me for telling them they can’t be bigoted in public anymore

@lupestripe that's not my experience, I see lots of UK furs (and babs) on #Barq from London

Looking around on #barq there seems to be a lot fewer #babyfurs in #WesternAustralia than I'm used to.
I wonder if there are actually fewer, or whether there is less acceptance in WA and people are hiding that part of themselves.
