@amcarmichaelMP has confirmed to me that the @LibDems party leadership agrees with the @TheCriminalBar that the govt should have implemented the Bellamy Review in full, when it was published and govt should do that now as CBA is asking.

I no longer do much Criminal Defence Legal Aid work. Legal Aid hasn't been my main income since 2009.

But I 100% support barristers taking action today. Funding is needed to save our justice system, esp to protect innocent people wrongly accused of crime.
