@mikecarter look not sure you knew but #baseballs grow on trees https://mastodon.au/@Heliograph/110173247861841190
@SeanDFW Agreed re hashtags, but how Mastodon lets you do it gets goofy if you want to put multiple hashtags in one column. To get `#baseball` I had to dedicate a column to it because the drop-down (if you’re adding it to another hashtags-built column) is limited to what Mastodon/instance/etc. can find. `#baseball9` and `#baseballs` made it — but not `#baseball`. Thus, I have one for #baseball or #mlb and one for #NFL or #cfb (still can’t add `#NCAA` but don't want to eat up another column). 😠
#cfb #NFL #mlb #ncaa #baseballs #baseball9 #baseball
1. I appreciate the research done and Insider’s detailed analysis on the possibility that three distinct #baseballs were used in 2022.
2. I don’t trust #MLB on this.
3. I’d like expects to weigh in on whether Insider’s analysis has holes and whether the research is statistically significant given the sample size and how the balls were obtained and tested.
4. “Goldilocks.” Very nicely done.
