I haven't watched any of the other matches yet, but the IWGP Women's Championship match between KAIRI and Mercedes Moné was a great one.

I thought that KAIRI had it when Moné ran right into a Cutlass, but that was not to be.

Mercedes Moné is the new IWGP Women's Champion after hitting KAIRI with the Money Maker for the 3-count.

While it was unfortunately botched at Wrestle Kingdom 17, here it hit perfectly & looked fantastic.

Tonight we have not only WWE's Elimination Chamber event, but also NJPW's Battle in the Valley.

I admit the reason for my interest in the latter is mostly to see Mercedes Moné's first match outside of WWE, which also happens to be against another former WWE star in KAIRI, but it could also end up tempting me to watch more NJPW events in future. Time will tell.
