The Orion is a fun ‘Mech to me. It strikes a good balance of being able to slug it out and take a hit. My favorite match with this ‘Mech was one where I went into forced retreat halfway through, then got to just continuously land hits as I ran towards my home edge.

Paints: Matt White Primer Spray, Daemonic Yellow, Malignant Green SP over the yellow, Grim Black SP for the stripes, Tainted Gold cockpit, True Copper axe blade, Rough Iron axe handle, Night Scales for the fists.

Axman! There are few things as satisfying as cleaving a ‘Mech with an Axe. I feel like most versions of this ‘Mech benefit really well from AlphaStrike squish scale.

殲滅戦だけじゃないドラマが盤面で展開されて、それを落ち着いて鑑賞できるのが戦術シミュレーションゲームの楽しいところ。

Playing a game of AlphaStrike with someone new, so no optional rules were in effect. Felt like a prime chance to field an all Charger lance!! Painted these out real quick to field for a 4 way battle. Team Charger won!

Speaking of missile boats, the Catapult is definitely a go-to for me. I think there are others that might still beat it out and bring more as a missile ‘Mech, but the Catapult usually makes the grade when I’m building an IF focused company.

The Crusader is maybe the most aesthetically cool missile boat in my opinion. There are plenty of ‘Mechs that do missiles better however. The 6T variant is probably my favorite C3 brawler.

I've been wanting to get into Battletech and finally finished painting my first miniatures (well, I tried painting some warhammer 40k minis as a kid... some 20+ years ago). They're on the rough side, but I'm damn proud of them. Now I just need to start actually playing.
