What is really nice about this are the educational components. An understanding of the ecosystems that are involved and the importance of conservation, are themes conveyed to diners.

Stopped at Burntcoat Head Park on the Bay of Fundy—recognized as having the greatest average tidal range in the world. Between tides—past high but not yet close to low. Did not expect to be able to head out on the sea floor... but wrong! The tide was still on the way out, and there was plenty of mud and sea bottom to explore! Saw some folding chairs and tables, too—curious about that...

Wow! Dining on the ocean floor!

it's rare to see a single orca with a group of another species such as dolphins.

"It's not as much the interaction with dolphins than the fact that he's alone is interesting."

"Why this one is more related to a group of dolphins and why he doesn't go back to his family or his group is an impossible question to answer, but what it does show is the adaptability."

A lobster boat is biding its time while waiting for the tide to rise high enough to allow it to enter the raised harbour, the entrance which is marked by that tower and wall of rocks.

This is along the Bay of Fundy, and you can see the high tide mark by the black on the pile of rocks that help shelter the harbour. They don't have to wait until full high tide.

The Dory Rips off of Cap D'or. To the left of the image is the entrance to the Minas Basin, home of the world's largest tides, so there is a lot of water being exchanged during tides changes. This rip is the collision of 3 tidal currents as the water is rushing back in. It sounds thunderous. I have seen seals and porpoises playing in the waves on some days. :)
