Really saddened to hear about the death of #PaulOGrady.
I have some memories of #LilySavage (probably slightly young to have been target demographic), but would often listen to him on #BBCRadio2 when out and about.

He is being described this morning as a trailblazer for #drag, and I think that's true. Certainly Lily Savage had a presence that I don't think was matched on TV in the UK until #RuPaul came along with #DragRace.

Just listening to #EltonJohn ’s crocodile rock on the @saracox show on #BBCRadio2 and it transported me back to being a wee lad when my mam used to buy Top of the Pops records from #woolworths These were cheap albums with poor cover versions and had terrible photos of women on the cover. Oh my days they were awful.
