This used to be a programme driven by news and serious journalism. Sadly it's turning into a radio version of The One Show - bland and without direction.
No surprise James O'Brien and LBC News doing well.

@GreenPartyMolly I was relieved that at least made 1.5 degree global warming its top story today. And gave experts time to discuss it properly. Maybe at last people will take note, and demand politicians do more to combat climate change.

That’s right BBC Today, make sure when you ask Ken Loach an important question and he starts to give the answer you don’t want to broadcast that you are able to shut him up with the pips. Such a sad excuse for a national broadcaster.

Dear BBC - enough of the navel gazing - the real story is a government which is more than happy to break international lays and treaties for the sake of some right wing Tories - I’m with Gary Liniker on this

How many people "choose" not to pay their energy bills?
Nor many I guess.
The assumption should be they can't pay and are therefore vulnerable.
The few who choose not to pay should be taken through the established civil recovery process and the evidence heard in court with cost given to the company.

The most likely apocalyptic result of dependence on automated supply chains controlling distribution is being overwhelmed by having all the wrong stuff.

And guess who described that first, Philip K. Dick.

Well done for hitting the pips when playing out with Jeff Beck but was "Bolero" the only track that fitted?

Constant stream of fact-free bull from the Tory on this morning. No the UK doesn't pay nurses well.

Nurses’ wages have declined by 20% in real-terms in a decade in the UK and pay is less than most comparable European countries.

Constant stream of fact-free bull from the Tory on this morning. No the UK doesn't have the same spending on health as other countries.

"of the G7 group of large, developed economies, UK healthcare spending per person was the second-lowest"

Thanks for the warning. I won't bother to tune in to between Xmas and NY. It's being guest edited by CEOs, celebrities (e.g. Jamie Oliver) and so on. I assume it's been decided that nothing serious can happen between those dates. What happened to good journalism?
