@MarkhamHislop there was a new billboard on the way out of Port Alberni this morning as I drove toward the fire-damaged Cameron lake bluffs on Highway 4. It was for BCLNG.ca. It said: "BC LNG, it Helps” or something... I uttered words that should not be repeated without a CW here, but also Charlatans, Liars, Burners of the World.

How do these people sleep at night as others, their fellow citizens, literally lose their homes to sleep in due to fossil-fueled wildfires, floods, and all the rest.

At some point, I hope some of them go to jail.

@larryneufeld I debunked the #BCLNG “bridge fuel” argument 5 years ago after I got into a Twitter argument with the fellow behind “A Chemist in Langley” who is a favourite pseudo-climate scientist/“pragmatist” here in BC.
He insisted BC LNG would help China get off coal. I used a CAPP funded study to show high carbon BCLNG was liable to compete with and replace low carbon renewables in China.
