J'ai passé au moins 4 heures sur une bêtise : au lieu de donner ALL PRIVILEGES à l'utilisateur de la base de données, je lui ai seulement donné SELECT !

Jamais, mais vraiment jamais je n'avais fait ça, d'où je l'ai sorti ? Mystère ?

Donc impossible d'installer mon wiki local et un petit site perso pour la gestion du quotidien.

Rhalala, l'étourderie ça fait perdre plein de temps. Dès que j'ai vu l'erreur les deux sites étaient installés en 10 minutes. 😞

While there are still vocal proponents of #TDD, #BDD, #ExtremeProgramming & variations, it struck me today that people getting into software development now probably don’t realize how hyped those concepts were a decade-ish ago. These days they feel more like a personal preference for some than an organizational, or even team, decision.

I’d attribute some of that to the shift towards statically types languages, but also that the developer role today feels more individualistic in general.

@helge @activitypubtestsuite I learned how to link up #gherkin #bdd #fediverse scenarios to Elixir unit tests using the HTTP signatures feature in your excellent example: https://codeberg.org/helge/fediverse-features

The only tricks I needed to do to pass the tests were 1. strip trailing newlines from all gherkin doc strings and 2. the JSON POST "content" required stripping leading and trailing whitespace from each line, and then re-concatenating the lines without newlines.
