I met #BeachMusic in the early 70s when Dad was stationed at #MyrtleBeach AFB and I worked summers on the Boardwalk. It's 50's-60s #soul and #blues—certain #records. Whatever dancers could "Shag" to—not the British meaning of "Shag" 😂

Some of the songs also became "Northern Soul" favorites in the UK.

Chairmen of the Board had a classic in both genres with "You've Got Me Dangling on a String" (1970). ❤️
