Alas, I had to extend the length of this beautiful work with some heavy chain, but I feel this helps with the feel of the work.

The person who bought the blue version of this contacted me the day after the purchase and commissioned me to make a green/purple version of it. So I did.
Amethyst beads look so danged pretty with silver-lined 6/0 seed beads.
The pattern belongs to Carole Ohl and is found in the Aug/Sept. 2010 edition of Beadwork magazine.
