Pair of very rare Ottoman gold earrings with an enameled disc around central rose cut diamonds encircled by a spray of emerald beads, circa 1690 CE. The earrings are 3.3cm high and 4.3cm wide. A very similar pair are exhibited at the Top Kapi Museum in Istanbul. Sold by peterszuhay.com

Stone bead necklace from the Taino people of the Dominican Republic, Caribbean. Dated circa 10thC to 15thC the beads measure approximately 1cm x 4cm. Acquired by the Metropolitan Museum of Art in 1984, the beads are not on display. Accession Number: 1984.519.3-.43
