Since very few tutorials exist for the #beaglebone #BBAI64, I started to aggregate useful links and to document my learning path: https://github.com/loic-fejoz/beaglebone-ai64-tutorial/
I started with #PRU because it is pretty similar to other board like the #BBB black but I wish to soon test #DSP #c66x #c6x processor too.

So deceiving that #beaglebone AI 64 does not support #opencl ! Or does it? There is a libOpenCL.so but did not manage to compile anything to use it...π«€
Will have to look now into #DSP with #c66x but already so few documentation...

Okay, screw this: if BB-GATEWAY is going to act like this---and what the everlovinghell is wrong with people not documenting literally anything? A DRAWING IS NOT DOCUMENTATION--I'm scrubbing to load the latest testing build of the OS.
I see why #BeagleBone boards are so easy to get and still pretty cheap. There's more documentation right this second on a single wifi package being added to the kernel than everything in the entire Beagle cottage industry.
The next best project to #homeassistant is running it on a #beaglebone SBC. Quite, low power and small. Excited to see #BeaglePlay released!
So here's my notes:

The #BeagleBone #AI64 is a powerhouse.

Feel like right now is a good time to point out.... #beaglebone has always been a better (read: thought out) #SBC than @Raspberry_Pi IT HAS A FUCKING SERIAL CONSOLE! #orangepi is also doing some excellent work on a large variation of #SBC's to meet different needs.
I'd like to congratulate the #RPi social media team on the record sales quarters #pine64 and #beaglebone will soon experience.
Uups... ich sollte das System wohl mal updaten und neu starten π. #Linux #BeagleBone
I sometimes forget I am accustomed to the speed and responsiveness of my i9 PC with more ram than an average datacenter (JK, though it has the maximum), that is until I start working in a shell on a Beaglebone or a Raspberry Pi #BeagleBoard #BeagleBone #Linux #Shell #Bash

The Beaglebone Black Wireless lives. Now to check my Visual Studio can still to talk to it, so I can develop the firmware for reading various sensors and control the environment with in the Bearded Dragons new Terrarium. This will read Dallas Temperature sensors, humidity, air quality and control daytime basking lamp, heaters and UV Lamp. Itβll also control over night heating and enable airflow when needed #Beaglebone #Beagleboard #EmbeddedLinux #Embedded #TerrariumControll #Terrarium

πΆπ£ So long ARMv7... Boris finally gets 64 bits! We at the BeagleBoard.org Foundation are very excited to introduce the new #BeagleBone AI 64 π https://www.cnx-software.com/2022/06/15/beaglebone-ai-64-sbc-features-ti-tda4vm-cortex-a72-r5f-soc-with-8-tops-ai-accelerator/
"Being independent from the linux scheduler and having direct access to the IO pins of the #BeagleBone Black, the PRU is ideal for offloading IO intensive tasks"...
Mmm... how do I know if my #linux box does require the linux-firmware package? `dmesg | grep -i firmware` returns nothing...
In the specific case, I've a #BeagleBone Black with just 2GB and the linux-firmware takes more than 500MB...
