Naturally I paid my respects to Desperate Dan and Minnie the Minx while in #Dundee . I was fortunste enough to be friends with Minnie's dad, Leo, so I had to introduce myself to her.
I miss swapping emails with Leo. He'd be delighted his Amazonian warrior girl lives on.

A Beano Xmas cover from Christmas Eve 1966. Before my time I should like to add. The Beano is (of course) a weekly humour comic in the UK and it’s the longest running weekly comic in the world, clocking up over 4000 issues since July 1938! Child Number Two here had a Beano subscription for a few years but sadly recently grew out of it and announced it was now “too young” for him.
