I’ve switched my website over to #BearBlog now and I’m really pleased with the simplicity and ease of use of the platform. It’s even taught me markdown.

There’s no option to comment on anything I’ve written as there was in Wordpress, but I’m OK with that as it stops the spammers. Instead, I’m encouraging people to use good old-fashioned email if they want to get in touch to tell me what they think. 😀

I’m thinking of moving away from Wordpress for my site to something simpler and cleaner, with less propensity for spam comments and just generally easier to use. Once I get a handle on things over at the ole Bear, I’ll likely move everything there under my brianlavelle.scot domain. At the moment, the images on BearBlog are all still linked from my Wordpress site.
