I cleaned and dusted my Akai XR20 this afternoon, and removed the protective sticker. So shiny! Now to finally learn this machine properly and make some fun beats.

Anyone have a maschine beat pad from Native Instruments? How does it compare to making lo fi beats on a keyboard or an iPad? Is it worth it to get a keyboard with beat pads like the m audio oxygen? Or is keeping it modular better? Lmk if you all have any thoughts.
