@carrielarocco earlier we had the #BeaverScouts carve bars of hand soap. You can use table knives & teaspoons for that, & make some pretty Hepworth- like sculptures.
Also get lots of shavings, which I refactored.
Don’t suppose Oreo shavings will be a problem though

Now not only is that a lovely bit of art, but I’m thinking about Oreo carving as a possible activity for my #BeaverScouts They are 6-8 years old, so won’t have the patience or fine motor skills to do your level of fine detail. But they might really enjoy making *something* (& I’m supposing the tools needed could be fairly child-safe?)

I’m also thinking about the #BeaverScouts I work with, who are just beginning to form their models of how to work with other people.
