Hey #disabled #NEISvoid friends and those who spend lots of time in bed or are #Bedbound

What’s your favourite pillow for laying on your back for extended periods of time? My current pillow is great for when I’m actually asleep as I’m a side sleeper, it during the day I’m on my back and it’s too high. I see those cervical pillows a lot- do they help? Or should I just get a flat pillow?

This is SO much better than being #BedBound! I LOVE having a wheelchair. And I’m going to be moving in a little over a month - I’m going to find an accessible apartment. I’m really excited!

But it sucks for now. :( I COULD wheel over to the grassy area there and look at the plants, or probably make it to the apartment complex’s playground, except that there are /stairs/. :(

Hi, I'm Chartreuse! I'm a member of a plural system. A few of my headmates have been on the Fediverse for a while at @fern, @cobalt, and @primrose, and I wanted my own account. I don't front as often as them, but when I do, I tend to have thoughts about being #disabled.

My system has #MEcfs and (I think?) #POTS, along with various other things. We're mostly #bedbound, and I really hate it. I want to DO things!! :(

#BedBound problems:

Sadie cat has strong feelings that now that winter is here my lap is hers. The current position of my lap is apparently unacceptable. I just heard myself say, "It's not your job to tell me what I'm supposed to do with my body."
