Just back from my local supermarket.

The local Council, have mown the grass verge, along with wildflowers that were in full bloom and doing just fine without human intervention.

Outside there were racks of bedding plants for sale. They were badly wilting and looked as though they needed human intervention in the form of a good soaking / TLC.

It's ironic. Wildflowers get cut down, plants grown for our gardens are abandoned.
