This was a day I was #bedridden (like the vast majority of my days). #Stress (I suffer from #SocialAnxiety, general #anxiety & resultant #PanicAttacks) placed me in the fat-burning zone for nearly 10.5 hours. And this, whilst not occurring every single day, is the dominant feature of my Fitbit reports. No #AntiAnxiety meds for nearly 5 months.

No #medications No #SocialCare Minimal #FoodAndWater No #HygieneSupport No help with #Dressing etc.

Knuckle (ring finger mcp) I accidentally hit 7 1/2 weeks ago is still agonisingly painful if moved wrongly - it’s fine for most movements but there are a few that cause sudden 8/10 pain. Not good

Aside from talking to my physio some more which is scheduled, I can’t figure out anything else I can do that’s actually #accessible… it isn’t bad enough to risk disability progression by going for a scan

It’s things like this where the medical system just totally fails #bedridden people :(

After two months I’m still waiting for my #LTD claim to be approved. Lots of red tape and someone forgot to dot a few i’s I guess. I have to trust all will work out. M #bedridden. If the bathroom trip lasts more than 2 to 3 minutes I am sick for hours. Docs concur. Not sure what else the #insurancecompany could possibly want. Meanwhile groceries are getting “interesting” and #Finances are sending marital #stress levels thru the roof. My nerves are in orbit of #pluto . :/

The universe should hurry up and invent an affordable household robot that can fetch me objects from other rooms, fridge, freezer, pantry, etc

@kfarinsky As a severely #disabled & #ChronicallyIll #bedridden person, with poor #homeostasis, and catches bugs rather easily, I cannæ afford to take the risk. Additionally, my GP took a year or so to decide I could have a vaccination and which one, but then failed to give any follow-up jabs. I have to protect myself as best I can, not just from #Covid19.

If nothing else, Musk has broken my Twitter addiction.

I only dip into Tw occasionally now & its all bad news. I'm kind of cocooned from it here, being more selective with my follows. Less news/media. Better to not know.

But I'm really missing the Tw communities I was part of. Being so #isolated from ppl & society in real life, Tw friends & groups helped pass weeks of cold #lonely #bedridden #Longcovid emptiness over 2 winters.

Now I don't belong anywhere & am dreading this winter.

For myself #parks are of no use, unless they contain planting that encourages insects or trees to clean the #air - not all do! However, children need somewhere to #play, to run about, etc. Even expensive #MiddleClass homes are constructed with tiny #gardens. Most children need #OpenSpaces. I am a retired reception-teacher (Kindergarten).

@mister_goldfish Not well. Still sporadically attempting to obtain appropriate #SocialCare from #Trafford Council. Mostly rec’g a snack at 16.00 & dinner c.20.00, but #Carers mostly forget #hygiene, #dressing, and so on. With my #memory issues I rarely recall to do things myself, and even if I do, being #bedridden means I cannæ do things w/o carer-support. Enough about me. How are Mrs. Goldfish & yourself doing? 💙
