Not quite #megafauna, but definitely mega frog, #beelzebufo lived in Madacasgar during the #cretaceous. As the largest #frog ever, beelzebufo was16in long and weighed 10lbs. Modern frog-keepers (like me!) will tell you that our extant #amphibian friends eat anything that fits in their mouths--and for beelzebufo, that was a lot! It likely ate lizards, small vertebrates, and even baby dinosaurs. Its similarity to modern South American frogs suggests a more recent land connection with Madagascar.
