That last batch of #beeswax was not only cleaner, but more; the resulting disc weighs 500g, about thrice the thickness of the others. And my wife reweighed the other discs I had weighed before to find it was a total of 1,7 kg, not 1,2 kg as I had thought. So I’m up to 2,2 kg of wax now, which was my original target to buy. This turned out well.

Today's quick burst of productivity, waterproofed the #boots with #beeswax. Works great, but only do that with boots you don't intend to resole (softens up the leather too much). Had to Shoe Goo the seams and bottom, these pair are about at the end of their life. Need to duct tape the inner liner too.

So, I just made lip balm for Xmas gifts & thought to myself, "I should take a picture to show folks" and then I noticed the beeswax was Doing Art in the double-boiler, so I had to take a picture of that too! :D
