Not going to lie, the #formulaone #belgiumgp was not good. I had severe trouble staying awake. The previous GP i gave a 6/10. I give this one 4/10. Two points for the GP drivers intro music video (really love it, sends chills and vibes down my spine), 1 point for the first five laps, and 1 point for the threat of rain which never happened. It's not Max's fault. There's always dominant cars or drivers each year. The trouble is that the action behind the lead isn't really happening either.

#F1 #BelgiumGP The first half of the season threw in several surprises for P2 in constructors but ideally this all in the long term would lead to multiple teams fighting for wins. At least for rest of 2023, for now, excited to see who emerges as the best of the rest. Would be incredible to see McLaren be that team but wouldn't mind Astron Martin either. It would be a nice sweet surprise and wake up to call to Ferrari and Mercedes!

#F1 #BelgiumGP The car and the Red Bull team revolves around Max and the team needs second driver to finish second in the c'ship which is where Checo is atm, so don't see Checo getting replaced either and will race till end of his contract at 2024.

That was a weird one... a lot happened & I feel like I should think it was a good race, but I just didn't really enjoy it very much 🤷‍♂️

Loads of overtaking but still felt flat. All the promising storylines - Albon, Checo FTW, the Mclarens - just kinda fizzled out.

Max starting to think he's bigger than the team. Maybe he is.

Ferrari in "not shit" shocker.

Aston must be relieved to not be as washed as they feared.

Finding myself oddly glad that it's looking to be a dry race... the problem with Spa is that there seems to be such a small sweet spot between "damp racing excitement" and "biblical downpour race is impossible". I think the lack of setup time and gradually rubbering in track should add plenty of intrigue with less risk of disappointment. Plus the first few laps of Max destroying everyone's hopes of course 🤪
