#onthisday in 1903, Frederick Law Olmsted died in #belmontma at the age of 81. With his partner Calvert Vaux, he designed #centralpark in #manhattan and #prospectpark in #brooklyn. The father of #landscape #architecture in the #usa he designed #parks and #gardens all over the country. #Belmont MA Library, Mystic Charles #Pollinator Pathways will be holding a Winter SEED Sow DIY Workshop. This is close-to-the-last-chance to get our extra seeds into milk jug and other containers. Please bring your supplies and come get messy. MCPP will demonstrate techniques and supply seeds, soil/sand, tools and some labels.
