158 followers · 1862 posts · Server mstdn.socialBack in 2020, I had my main bike serviced at a local shop. One of the bolts tightening the hole for the eccentric bottom bracket was so horribly stuck they drilled it out and put a through-bolt in its place.
This week, I finally contacted a metalworking shop with aluminum welding gear. They agreed to fix it, so I took the bike apart, got the frame to the shop, and next day, it had a brand new hole with new threads.
Last night went into putting the #bike back together :D
