More #BeMyFavorite fic for #WIPwednesday! It's the best-worst loop where Kawi is too famous and Pisaeng is too patient, and Pisaeng finally gets to make out with someone other than Pear, but I'm not sure if that means he's suffering more or less

Rewatching more #BeMyFavorite for fic writing reasons, and was struck by this scene in ep 7: Kawi working himself up to talk about the kiss, knowing that not talking would be bad for them both, but Pisaeng tells Kawi to forget about it, to focus on the other things in his life, that Pisaeng just wants to be Kawi's comfort zone. You can see the words hurting Pisaeng as he says them. It's loving, self-sacrifical...and so clearly foreshadows why they eventually fall apart

Rewatching ep 6 of #bemyfavorite for fic writing reasons, and was struck by this scene where Kawi apologises to Pisaeng. All their microexpressions! Look at Kawi's brave trooper face -- he's come so far, he's willing to be vulnerable now, to apologise and to be grateful and to explain why it's so hard for him to accept help! And Pisaeng, he was ready to accept Kawi's anger at him because he was sure he'd done the right thing, but his face went so soft with the apology and thanks! ARGH! THEM!

#bemyfavorite truly had one of the most heartwarming, beautiful and kind finales of all time. if i could, i would probably just spend the upcoming week watching this show on loop over and over again. if you want a show that's about personal growth, about being kind to each other, about beauty in the little things, with a speech about queer rights that made me cry, bmf is the one for you

I'm impressed that #BeMyFavorite dodged the episode 11 curse. That ending!

Kawi started the episode as a selfish little shit, but I like that the episode showed him warming up and becoming less selfish and more grateful over time.

It's been almost 20 years for marriage equality in Canada, long enough to forget the shame and disgrace of refused hospital visits in places where equality doesn't yet exist. Good for GMM for showing the ugly face of inequality.

I started #BeMyFavorite. The premise with a girl which both main leads kind of like is slightly weird. I'm interested in how this turns out.

with #stepbysteptheseries, #lapluie and #bemyfavorite all airing concurrently, almost every day i get to read huge essays about symbolism in media, meaning of colors and framing, character development, queer experiences and queer filmmaking. it's absolutely fantastic. what an amazing time to be alive

you should all be watching #bemyfavorite btw. this is shaping up to become one of the best shows of the year--depending on how it ends, it might turn into one of my top favorite bls of all time. the show is THAT good
