On the way home in #Bendigo today I saw someone in their car with the music loud and dancing like nobody was watching.

Except I was. And it was a joy to see.

- a young boy leaving a bookshop clasping 8 or so books to his chest under a super wide grin on his face.

Sacred Heart Cathedral, Bendigo

Earlier this week I took a photo very similar to this, but because I have no idea how to use the Camera+ app on my phone, the focus point from a previous photo was 2ft in front of me. Made for a very blurry cathedral. Have had to wait a couple of days for the sun to return.

My purchases from the Sheep and Wool Show we went to yesterday. I have a lot to work on!

Top row: three fibre braids from Fairfield Finns (finnsheep), five small rolled batts of fibre from Granite Haven Llamas (gotland).

Bottom row: two fibre braids from Beersheba Farm (Duchess blend of merino, castledale, and silk), eight skeins of yarn from Tarndie (polwarth).

I also bought a swing picker to help in fleece processing. Can't wait to use it!

My wife’s Mothers Day birdhouse is up. These are made by an 80 year old gent with macular degeneration and sold at the florist where my wife works here in #Bendigo.

Managed to get some good rubber straps and hooks for fixings to avoid tree damage.

Managed not to lose any eyes or fingers doing so.

Weather in #Bendigo this morning reminds me of my winter in #Denmark.

10 deg C warmer but to me feels and looks the same.

Comforting despite the gloom of the morning.
