Figured I changed jobs, I should write a new #introduction post. After living and working with adults with developmental disabilities for 12 years, I recently started a new job as Hopitality Coordinator at a #RetreatCenter run by #Benedictine Sisters. I feel like I'm the baby in Three Men and A Baby if the 3 men were Mr Rogers, Pee-wee Herman, and Kermit the Frog.

Since 2016 I've managed to make my life increasingly unstructured. Good.

But loss of productivity bad.

So now am attempting to adapt #Benedictine #Horarium to secular life.

Trying not to remember the hated regime of boarding school!

I start a 6 week online discussion/discernment class with a handful of other people who are discerning becoming an #Oblate at the Benedictine monastery where I am enrolled in my #SpiritualDirector formation program. It's led by two current Oblates and it's the beginning of the formal discernment process and I'm really excited to start and see where it goes.

- I started #volunteering with a ministry that serves people experiencing #houselessness & I really enjoy the people I serve and w/ whom I serve.
