So, here's the thing. You can't #give what you haven't been given.

You have to been given the #BenefitOfTheDoubt, a #grace, an #understanding, a #patience, a #listening, a #BeingSeen and heard, a #compassion in order to be able to give it to others.
One, so you recognise it. And two, so you have enough to give.

But here's also the thing:
what you haven't been given, because for whatever reason others ran short, you can be the one to give it to yourself first.

My personal belief is:

Maintaining a negative disposition, for whatever reason, towards a race of people is #racism.

Disliking someone who is #racist towards you is your #right and #freedomofopinion .

Maintaining a negative disposition towards a race of people on the grounds that they do the same to your race is ..... #racism.

Disliking all the people, of a race, who were racist towards you is your #freedomofopinion and #livedexperience .

Meeting a new person of that race and assuming they are racist is #racist.

Giving every new person of a race historically racist to your race the #benefitofthedoubt is #verydifficult but still #therightthingtodo.
