Since the lockdown’s lifted and we have lots of people back outside (which is great!), I feel as though people (especially older people) have completely lost the ability to say “please” and “thank you”, in particular on public transport in London. Simple courtesy is a really good thing. There is me out here with my little one saying “thank you” to bus drivers, older people can’t even say thank you when you move out of the way for them or give up your seat.

I think Mastadon posters need a bit more self-control.
