I managed to get through my words without bawling, but it was still incredibly difficult to speak my thoughts. When I got home I cried and cried, and went to bed early. This morning I have puffy eyes and an aching head, but I'm so grateful to have access to the group. There is nothing like being seen and heard in group of people who are there to listen-grief and trauma and all-and respond by sharing their own journeys and challenges.
Again I walk away encouraging anyone suffering through grief to seek out a support group or two and give them a try. It's like a piece of the burden being lifted every meeting. And being seen in a way I haven't experienced anywhere else since Mama died.

"My wife should be here" (I used her name which I'm not writing here).
She died Dec 2018, and yet the grief has just come flooding back.
I'm at the point of tears, sitting here doing nothing, taking nothing in.
