#ETNO wants the #EU to force websites to pay broadband providers for traffic that broadband providers’ customers request from the sites.

In response, #BEREC reports it found no evidence that such mechanism is justified given the current state of the market. BEREC believes that the ETNO members’ proposal could present various risks for the #internet ecosystem.

Bis heute Abend könnt ihr euch noch in die öffentliche #BEREC Anhörung zur freien Router-Wahl einbringen.

Es geht darum ob es wieder in Richtung Routerzwang mit einem Router in Hoheit des ISPs geht, oder ob wie aktuell gültig eine freie Router-Auswahl durch den Kunden möglich ist. Kurze Mail an NTP_Guidelines@berec.europa.eu mit einem Plädoyer für den NTP am Punkt A wäre im Sinne von #RouterFreedom wichtig.
