Everyone says an #introduction is a must so here goes mine!

• Live in #Chicago
• Introduced to #programming ~18 years ago via #informix and #php.
• Met the #Python community along the way and fell in love, spent more than a decade helping grow the #community, now the former Executive Director of the Python Software Foundation (aka #psf)
• Years of #MeetingPlanning experience
• Love #weightlifting and a newly minted #marathoner (ran #ChicagoMarathon in 2022, running the #BerlinMarathon in 2023!). Love #gardening and about to start some seeds for the spring.
• I am building a more impactful way for businesses to handle vendor security questionnaires and tooling to assist with customer-facing security programs. #infosec
• Running a #startup is a new adventure for me so I am here to pick up any knowledge nuggets and experiences folks have to share.
• I love talking about effective #leadership and #management skills.
• I am passionate about team building and building a positive culture at the workplace.

A double batch of Shalane Flanagan and Elyse Kopecky's superhero muffins to carry me through the start 2023 half-marathon and marathon training. Given how much the kids like these I probably should have made a quadruple batch.

#JetzePlat (31 jaar) is triatleet, handbiker en sinds dit jaar ook atleet. Werd dit jaar Europees en wereldkampioen in de #paratriathlon. Het was alweer zijn 6e wereldtitel op rij. In het #handbiken werd hij wereldkampioen in tijdrit en wegwedstrijd. In die sport wereldtitel 9 en 10. En dan legde hij zich – als extra trainingsprikkel – toe op het #wheelen. Hij werd 4e in de #BerlinMarathon, 5e in Londen en pakte brons in #NewYorkMarathon. Won de Jaap Eden al in 2017, 2019 en 2020/21.

I'm running the #valencia #marathon next Sunday! Anyone else? I came down with Covid the day before the #berlinmarathon and my spring marathon didn't happen due to an extreme heat wave in France.
