‘Border Song’ was one of the songs in his memorable set.

Rocket man: an award-winning #shortfilm in the competition "Elton John: The Cut."

Directed by Stephen McNally and Majid Adin, the #animation draws on Adin's experience as an #Iranian #refugee separated from his family, and draws parallels with the astronaut's experience in the song.

Incidentally I didn't know that one of the inspirations cited by lyricist #BernieTaupin for this song is the #RayBradbury story of the same name, from the collection The Illustrated Man.
